ABOUT US… We are a self-supporting, non-profit organization run by volunteer parents and coaches. The club was created to give boys/girls ages 4-14 (not in high school) the chance to learn the fundamentals of wrestling before they compete at the middle school and high school levels. We are not funded by the school district but are allowed to use these excellent facilities.
The Duran Youth Wrestling Club is a member of the Pikes Peak Wrestling League. The team has set very high standards for itself. We practice with intensity and have a strong work ethic. The team is very dedicated, exudes desire to learn, and is determined to become a strong wrestling club.
This mindset has carried over to our goal-oriented approach. Our club emphasizes that a Duran wrestler be a student first, and wrestler second. We are a proud organization that strives for excellence and is always recruiting young ambitious athletes (boy or girl) from the surrounding area that might enjoy experiencing quality competition and the spirit of sportsmanship.
