It is because of great business like these that many of our wrestlers have an opportunity to travel and become elite athletes. Thank you so much to every single person and business that has given back to our program and its because of you we have an opportunity to represent our community at the highest level.
What a outstanding performance in the elite division. Crum is coming along and he is a very hard worker, beating this guy comes at no easy tasks. And a tasks that couldn't be done this past weekend. Crum earned his first gold medal in a long time. He would win all of his matches by points going the distance in every match. Crum continue to work hard and you will continue to find the top of the awards stand. Pride is what you have
Mickail dominated his bracket earning a gold medal and 6 Dan Gable Points. Not only did He wrestle super hard he was one of the last wrestlers to leave for clean up and he help so much. What a great young man and hard worker. He recorded 5 wins on the day and wrestled very impressively. We are excited to see what the future holds for you. Continue to work hard and it will continue to pay off. Pride is what you have .
Duran wrestling participated in a 600 team tournament with over 1500 wrestlers in a sold out event at the National Western Complex. Duran wrestlers were ready and eager to take the mats. Duran had the first match of the day With Urijah Duran earning a pin and the rest of the Duran team would follow with only a couple of our 34 wrestlers losing there first match. The atmosphere was intense and Coaches were throwing red flags like they were free. Wrestlers were excited and united as they sat and watched the team score throughout the day. Every wrestler knew in order for us to win we would have to win has many matches as possible. It was amazing to watch them compete at a high level and also to see them unite with one another as no wrestler took the mat with out the ref kicking about 10 kids off the mat side. Our Coaches did an amazing job as they always do. Special Thanks to Angelo Vigil has he was there till the bitter end only out of love and loyalty to our program. He and every Coach battled with refs, other Coaches and hard choices as we were making many of them. The wrestlers did an amazing job working the hardest I have ever seen them. Every wrestler had a great match winning and losing by points, seconds, and overtime miracles. This is a tournament that we will remember for ever. Great Job Duran Wrestlers, Coaches and Parents. Without our parents none of this is possible the time and dedication you show your wrestlers is paying off. We are at the top. Just remember staying on top is harder then getting there. Great Job Duran we are so very proud of each Wrestler.

After winning 13 National Championships Yaya has found himself in the DNP list for over one year. He continues to practice hard show up to every national event and wrestle his toughest. This last weekend he broke that barrier and earned a 5th place finish. He had to wrestle tough and beat kids that do not lose often. He would have to wrestle 4 kids with over 100 wins. Yaya was the first match at 9am and was almost the last match at 8pm. That is over 10 hrs of wrestling. He battled all day winning 4 matches by pin and losing twice on the day. Great job Yaya Pride is what you have
